Applying AI to product development, historical photo restoration, and the preservation of institutional history.
From Client Project to Product Opportunity
The work began with the South Carolina Golf Hall of Fame, where the challenge of preserving golf history revealed a broader opportunity. Organizations have decades of photographs, records, and stories, but often lack a practical way to bring them together and make them accessible.
Storied Hall grew from that opportunity: a digital heritage experience designed to preserve institutional history and make it easier to explore.
Applying AI Across the Product Lifecycle
AI became part of how I developed the offering—not just a feature within it. I used it to accelerate product and website development, explore naming and positioning, refine messaging and calls to action, and help turn a broad concept into a coherent product experience.
The work demonstrates how AI can support both product creation and the strategic decisions surrounding it.
Restoring Images and Reconstructing History
Historical photographs are often faded, damaged, or inconsistent in quality. AI-assisted restoration and portrait creation offer a way to present honorees in a more consistent, museum-inspired style while preserving their recognizable likeness.

I also explored how AI could help extract information from historical documents, spreadsheets, and screenshots, then support web research to assemble biographies and championship records. Historical details still require verification; AI helps accelerate the work, not replace that judgment.
One Story, Multiple Experiences
Storied Hall brings the same history into different settings: an interactive display, a browsable website, and event experiences. The concept connects portraits, biographies, timelines, and searchable championship records so an organization's history can be explored rather than simply archived.
The experience is designed around the people and stories being preserved—not the technology behind it.
Building Beyond the Original Project
Storied Hall represents a shift from solving a specific client need to shaping a repeatable offering for a broader market. The work spans product strategy, UX, AI-assisted development, historical content, visual presentation, and go-to-market positioning.
The central opportunity is to make meaningful historical preservation more accessible to organizations that may have valuable archives but lack the resources to turn them into engaging digital experiences.
